Dino Exploration
Students will create artwork based on Roberto Benavidez in creating their own paper mache dinosaurs. Students will construct paper manipulated sculptures that they will then experiment with using paper mache to cover the surfaces.
Students will analyze the art-making approaches of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional materials to create a 3-dimensional sculpture while analyzing the process of sculpture. Each student has the opportunity to pick their own dinosaur or create their very own.

Let's Get Wild!
Students will create artwork based on the pop art movement and Andy Warhol using various lines and patterns of common subject matter.
Students will construct personal pop art zoo animals while working with unrealistic colors, repetition, and patterns while observing various examples of pop art. Students will learn cutting skills of creating multiple similar shapes while overlapping foreground and background.
